In this educational and highly entertaining presentation, two-time Juno Award winning artist/guitarist Jack de Keyzer performs and explores the history of blues guitar from…

  • the 1930’s acoustic blues of Robert Johnson (blues, ragtime, swing, Lonnie Johnson, Blind Boy Fuller),
  • the 1940’s (Charlie Christian, T-Bone Walker, the birth of the electric blues/jazz guitar),
  • the 1950’s (BB King, Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry), and finally to
  • the 1960’s (Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix ) .
